Testing at Lincoln Prep

  • Grade 9:
  • ACT Aspire: April 9, 2026 (no registration required)-required by State of Arizona
  • Grade 10:
  • PSAT: October 17, 2025 (registration colosed)
  • PreACT: March 25, 2026 (no registration required)
  • Grade 11:
  • PSAT: October 16, 2025 (registration closed)
  • ACT: March 24, 2026 (no registration required)-required by State of Arizona
  • Grade 12:
  • None
  • The State of Arizona currently utilizes the ACT suite of assessments, beginning with the required ACT Aspire in Grade 9, continuing with the PreACT in Grade 10, and concluding with the required ACT exam in Grade 11.
  • Lincoln Prep offers the entire suite of ACT assessments.  Students in Grade 11 may choose to report their ACT results to universities and scholarship programs for college admission purposes.
  • The ACT and SAT are similar exams that can be used for college admission purposes.
  • Most universities are test-optional (like ASU, NAU, UA, GCU, ACU).  Only some universities require a test score.
  • Lincoln Prep is currently not designated as an SAT test center; the SAT is not offered at Lincoln Prep in 2025-2026.

ASVAB Career Exploration Test

  • The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is a multiple-aptitude battery that measures developed abilities and helps predict future academic and occupational success in the military.
  • The ASVAB is not just for students interested in military options. It is free and valuable to any student wishing to explore careers.
  • ASVAB will be offered Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at 12:30 PM (after school).

PSAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test

  • Learn more about the PSAT/NMSQT
  • Free Practice available: Bluebook (College Board app)
  • The PSAT is not required nor used for college admission purposes. This test may serve as an entry point to the National Merit Program (competition) for top-scoring Juniors.

ACT

  • March 24, 2026:  ACT required for all Grade 11 students (free, on-campus exam)

CLT

  • The Classical Learning Test (CLT) aligns with our Great Hearts curriculum, and is comparable to the ACT or SAT.
  • For some universities, the CLT can be submitted instead of the ACT or SAT.
