Peer Tutoring
Peer Tutoring is a program in which students can sign up to be paired with a peer who has been selected for excellence in content and as a coach. Once the permission form has been returned, each peer tutee is matched with a peer tutor. Middle school tutees are encouraged to come twice a week (Wednesday and Friday). High school tutees are encouraged to come to the peer tutor twice a week as well (Wednesday and Thursday). However, if any tutee can’t make it to the peer tutoring twice a week as scheduled, they need to inform Mrs. Yu about it so a peer tutor doesn’t have to wait for the tutee who won’t be there.
Each session is monitored and supported by a faculty member. If you know your child needs additional help in classes, please fill out the Peer Tutoring Form. Also, if you have any questions, please reach out to Mrs. Yu at jyu@lincolnprep.org.
